Round Knitting Looms

Recommended Posts

I know it's not specifically a crochet topic, but you don't have to know how to knit with two needles to do it.

But I'm really obsessed. I was amazed with how fast I made a hat that isn't way too over sized for a normal human head... or undersized for that matter. I'm also enjoying using this yarn I found impossible to crochet with to make a long tube scarf.

The round looms also inspire me to want to make more hats and such for charity. Like the children's hospital, and maybe some military service hats. And socks! You can make socks!

Anyway, has anyone else ever tried it? Liked it? Disliked it? And what have you made?

Thanks a lot~WANT IT! You enabler... ~smile~ Seriously, I've been drooling over them a while and am very happy for your review. (((((HUGS))))) sandi

It was just so convenient because Michael's had them for $15.00, then we had a 50% off coupon so it was only 7.50 or something. Totally worth it. :yay

LOVE LOVE the round looms for hats......I made 29 hats this winter for my 7 grandkids :O)....I don't have to have their heads here to measure if a hat will fit them... I know the green loom hat on will fit all their heads perfectly.....LOVE the round looms

I love mine. I also have the long looms and a couple of wooden looms. I made double knit scarves on the smallest long loom. I have given looms to my niece and she finds it therapeutic to make scarves and hats. I think she is now contemplating learning how to crochet. These are some of my favorite looming sites.

I bought a round knitting loom on Ebay a few months ago but haven't used it yet. Truth is, I haven't figured OUT how to use it yet! :lol Now, after reading how everyone loves their round knitting looms, I'm going to have to spend some time with it to get used to it. As soon as I finish the February shawl I'll mess with it for a bit.
