Yarn Colors

[Captain Crochet]

Hello everyone. I hope you have all recovered enough from Thanksgiving to be ready for Christmas.

I saw a chart somewhere online that showed which solid color yarn went best with variegated yarn. For example, the Camaflage (sp?) would go best with black, brown or olive green.

Does anyone know where I can find a chart that tells me that?

That wasn't exactly the chart I remember seeing. But I like the red heart chart better.

I too have only seen the RedHeart color chart.

When I need to pick colors for a project, whether it is for my painting, beading or crocheting, I use a color wheel. I found the best one so far for all is my trusty little Rainbow Color Selector I purchased it at JoAnn's in the quilting dept. I like it because it has little, open squares coordinating with the colors so you can put the item your matching behind it. When I purchased mine, there were 2 sizes available. I got the small one and it fits my needs perfect. It even has a little booklet to explain how to use it for any color wheel newbies. Color coordinating was never easier!
