Laptop Cozy Pattern

Hi everybody, it's been a while since I've posted a pattern but here's my little Laptop Cozy...

 

 

This pattern will work for any size laptop or netbook. Use any aran weight yarn and a K/10.5mm hook.

 

With your first color make a chain that is about an inch longer than the width of the laptop. Also, make sure that your chain has an EVEN number.

 

With the same color, skip the first chain and sc across, ch 1 and turn.

 

Once you have made four sc rows, switch to the next color.

 

{With second color sc in first sc. *Dc in the hole two rows down, sc in next sc* repeat from * to * across

 

Now make four rows of sc and switch to your next color.}

 

Repeat the pattern from { to } until the fabric fits your laptop when folded in half. Make sure that the colors are the same on both ends of the fabric.
