Can you figure it out?

Question

I wanted to crochet this top from the anthropologie website. When I emailed them they stated that the top is mixed knit, but mainly crochet. I know how to do the ribbing for the top but I wanted to know what stitch was used for the body of the top. This is the link. Please help if you can. Thanks!

It looks like rows of sc followed by rows of sc, ch1, sc. In addition to that the openwork is done into backloop of the last sc row. (hence the ridges)

 

This is a guess only. Maybe do a swatch to see if it works.:) Good luck!

I think they lied or didn't know. The body of that looks most definately to be rows of knit, then rows of pearl. I've done something just like that when I was knitting more. It's a pretty basic pattern. The only thing that looks crocheted is the sleeves.
