First Knitting Class

I had my first knitting class today . I'm so excited. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I learned how to cast on, the knit and purl stitch, and how to cast off. I have been crocheting for a couple of years and love it. But, I like the look of knitted clothing. So, now off to practice, practice, practice. My second class will be 10/03, I will learn to increase and decrease and different cast on methods. I don't know if I can wait till then.

Way to go! I am still pretty new to knitting myself. I love it. Crochet will always be my first love but I just think some items look nice knitted. Enjoy your classes and Happy Knitting to you!

woo hoo, way to go girl. practice practice practice. it will keep you on your seats edge until the next class. theres several yahoo groups that do dishcloth patterns if you'd like some small projects to practice with (i know i like the practice better if i can have something useful to show for it and if it doesn't take forever to finish, when i'm learning).
