I know there are single, half double, double, and triple stiches, but is there anything higher like a quadruple crochet stich? Just one of my random questions

I know theres a double treble, dtr, don't know of anything higher than that though

As far as I know the Quad is the highest one I know of. I am sure you could do more yo if you really wanted to, But there isn't a stitch name for them.

I've seen patterns refer to things like "double treble" and "treble treble."

 

I did a pattern once that required 7 wraps of the thread around the hook, but since it was symbol crochet, not words, I have no idea what it was called.

what about the Bullion stitches where you wrap several rows around the hook, and pull through them all at 1 time. found a flower pattern using this technique HERE The pattern suggests 7 wraps for the flowers, if this helps.

There's no limit, try making an octuple if you want.

The name is just an indication of how many loops to use.
