Ripple Wrap or Stole

This one isn't very unusual, but I love the ripple pattern. I do very little ripple things, though. This one is working up quickly and I am pleased with it. I have made it wider and longer than the other wraps I've done.

 

Ripple Wrap or Stole

 

Size: About 24 inches wide x 70 inches long.

 

Materials: Worsted weight yarn; I crochet hook; yarn needle.

 

Ch64 loosely.

 

Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook and in next 3 chs, sk next ch, * dc in next 5 chs, 3 dc in next ch, dc in next 5 chs, sk next 2 chs; rep from * across, ending sk next ch (instead of 2 chs), dc in last 5 chs; ch3 (do not count as st), turn.

 

Row 2: Dc in first 2 dc, working in bakc loops, dc in next 3 dc, sk next dc, * dc in next 5 dc, 3 dc in next dc, dc in next 5 dc, sk next 2 dc; rep from * across, ending sk next dc (instead of 2 dc), dc in next 3 dc, working in both loops, dc in last 2 dc (not turning ch); ch3, turn.

 

Note: Keep first and last 2 dc in both loops and remainder in back loop only.

 

Rep Row 2 for desired length. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Yes brendaKBrown it is so soft then I looked on Bernat's website and that Cashmere blend got discontinued so I said to my fiance last night glad I got it so now I will prancing around in it I told him I could make the wrap and look rich even though I'm really not but hey why not?

Hi there - does anyone have a pic of this as a finished piece? I'm thinking a simple ripple will work with some pretty self striping yarn I received for my bday...just snooping for a visual!
