I recently purchased a wooden holder for my thread crochet balls. It even includes a drawer for my crochet hooks. How awesome it that! Finally I can protect my balls of thread from our kitten. Well he still tries to attack, but at least it stays on the holder and no more messy tangles.

I saw one of those several years ago and so I drug my hubby to Lowes to get the stuff to make one. He went down the bathroom supply aisle and came out with an oak toilet paper holder that when sat down had a wide base and worked great. We paid $10 dollars for it and it has worked great ever since.

I have seen those. Wondered if they worked well. My cat is constantly on my lap playing with my yarn and thread. She absolutely loves it. She also likes to steal my little scissors. She takes off with them in her mouth. Cute but annoying. I agree with above post, let's see a picture.
