caron baby hat

Recommended Posts

I was trying to do the caron baby hat that is knitted on circular needles.

I was using a size 8 as suggested but using baby yarn.

SHould I have used a smaller set of needles?

Mayby I should have used worsted weight.

They called for caron simply soft yarn.

What would you suggest?

Oh ya they said to do the baby hat with 74 stitches.

Ok they call for caron simply soft head measurement is 15-16" (17-18)

They say to use one circular needle us. 8 5mm needles 20: or 24"

gauge k2,p2 rib, 20 sts and 24 rows=4"10 cm

in crisscross stitch, 20 sts and 24 rows = 4"/10cm

I think I'll just try some worsted weight stuff.

Either that or i'll use baby yarn and a smaller needle.

Thanks for the help, everyone. Teapot

P.s. the pattern is free on the caron site.
