Materials:

Size 10 thread
Size 9 steel hook
Needle (for weaving in ends)

Finish Size: 1 ¾” inches from point to point.

Directions: (Make 2)

Rnd 1: Ch4 (counts as starting chain and first dc), 2 dc in 4th chain from hook, [ch3, 3dc in same chain] Do this 2 times, ch3 and join with sl st to first dc.
(3 ch3 spaces and 3 groups of 3dc)

Rnd 2: Sl st in each of the next 2 dc and into ch3 space, ch3 (counts as first dc), 2 dc into same ch3 space, ch2, 3 dc in same space, [ch1, (3 dc, ch2, 3 dc) all in next ch3 space] Do this 2 times, ch1 and join with sl st to first dc.
(3 ch1 spaces, 3 ch2 spaces and18dc)

Rnd 3: Sl st in next 2 dc, and into the next ch2 space, ch3 (counts as first dc), 2 dc into same ch2 space, ch2, 3 dc in same space, ch1, 3 dc in next ch1 space, ch1, [(3 dc, ch2, 3 dc) all in next ch2 space, ch1, 3 dc in next ch1 space, ch1] Do this 2 times, join with sl st to first dc.
(6 ch1 spaces, 3 ch2 spaces, 27dc)

Rnd 4: Ch1, 1sc in each dc around, putting 3 sc into each of the ch2 spaces and 1 sc into each ch1 space.
(42sc)
Finish off and weave in ends.

Repeat instructions for 2nd triangle, but do not finish off.

Assembling: Putting wrong sides together and making sure the 2nd triangle is on top of the first triangle and that the sides are matched up, ch1 and work 1 sc into each of the next 14sts working through the thickness of both triangles, now working in the top triangle only work 1 sc into each of the next 23 sts, now working through the thickness of both triangles work 1 sc into each of the next 5 sts, join with sl st to first sc. (42sc)
Finish off and weave in ends.
