yarn for spiral scarf

Has anyone tried making that spiral scarf? What kind of yarn did you use? Do you think it can be made with regular RH Yarn? Or does it need to be the fancier yarns? Such as BLISS as the one calls for?

You could make it with any yarn. It will have a different look with each.

 

I used Homespun on mine.

You can use any yarn you'd like. In the version I made I used caron simply soft and I like how it came out.
