What's a swap?

hi, I think I understand the jist of this, but can't find any official guidelines, or how one gets involved. Any info will be appreciated.

You have perfect timing. Just as you reach your time and post limits to be able to access the swap board, the 2009 swaps will be posted. Please remember, when you do start participating in swaps, that you are limited to 2 at a time (per the rules in the link). There are a lot of swaps and it's easy to get very excited and overextended. But they are a blast, with a chance to get to know a fellow 'villager, exchange some yarn or hand made items or whatever that particular swap calls for, or try some new crochet technique.

You will find swaps in the Community Center section on the main page of the Crochetville site. However, you won't be able to see them until you've reached regular Villager status: been a registered member longer than 30 days and made at least 30 posts to the forum.

Oh Dang! Ive been registered for about 2 years now I think, but havent posted more than 8 times or some stupidly low number

 

I needed a reason to buy more yarn
