You can convert them to crochet. Just get the same stitch gauge and make them

into single crochet stitches.

I'll make knitted ones for anyone interested.

I've been knitting the mini Weasley sweaters from "Charmed Knits" and I just today finished my crochet version. I'll probably post it on my Ravelry projects page tomorrow (Friday) if anyone's interested.
