Hi, I have a friend that only knits and she is wanting a pattern for a chemo cap done on 2 needles. All I can find are done on double pointed or circular needles. Any ideas?

By the way, what make a hat a chemo hat? Is it mainly the softenss? Thanks!

Hi Brenda, I don't knit, so I can't help you out there, but yes softness is a big concern with the chemo hat. Of course, I'm speaking mostly from a brain surgery patient perspective, but they are similar. Also, they shouldn't be very holey. First to cover the hair loss, and also to help regulate the body temp. My surgery was 3 years ago and I still have trouble regulating my body temp. As a matter of fact, I wore my chemo hat this morning trying to warm up! Hope that helps. :hug
