Brushed acrylic yarns?

A long time ago, I used yarns that were brushed acrylics. They might have been Wintuk or another brand.

 

Is there anything on the market now like the brushed acrylics of the past? I have a baby afghan calling for brushed acrylics and I don't even know if they still make them.

Joanns Sensations has a Big skein of brushed acrylic yarn. If you check Joanns website you might be able to find some.

Would Lion Brand Jiffy work? It looks a lot like the brushed acrylics I have in my stash.

I found some nice soft pink from ILTY and I will use that. I think it will be fine if it's not a brushed acrylic.

Jiffy is a great brushed acrylic. It works up beautifully, is soft, and has a somewhat mohair look without being too much. Also, you can literally brush your finished item if you wish to poof it up more.
