This is a gemran website but many of the potholders are graphed and are all worked in single crochet from the graph.

I have an idea!

 

I bet many of us speak other languages. If we did searches in all those languages, I bet we could come up with some neat designs.

Though - somehow I think some of the German pattern wouldbn't make it far here..LOL....

here is some help for German stuff - in case you need it

 

LM= Luftmasche (chain- usually the beginning chain))

M= Masche (stitch)

FM= feste Masche (single crochet)

S= Stäbchen (double crochet)

DS= Doppelstäbchen (tripple crochet)

R= Reihe (row)

KM= Kettmasche (chain)

WLM= Wende- Luftmaschen (turning chain)

HM or HS - halbles staebchen - (Half double crochet)
