I wonder how much yarn

It would take to make a babette with just three colors. I want to make DH a bears colored babette. i'm just in the planning stages right now because i have other projects that need to be completed first and well I want to make sure I will have the time/energy to do it. anyone have a guess.

From what I can figure out, the pattern calls for 22 skeins of yarn that are 4oz. each.

I'm glad someone else asked....I wasn't sure what a Babette was either!

The Babettes I have made have taken 17 balls of 50g yarn. I used Gong style of Ornaghi Filati, so it's rather fingering weight.
