The original pattern is from Vintage Crochet, a book I simply adore. I had to alter the pattern a bit to get it to fit different size handles than the pattern called for but I just love how it turned out. For more on this project, check out my blog.

Hmm. I've got to make a white summer bag for myself. This looks like the actual crochet would work up pretty quickly, especially with an H hook.

Yes, Mary Pat, I lined it with a sweet, cream colored floral fabric. you can see a photo of the lining on my blog if you like.
