Hi, I'd love to join you! I have some self striping yarn that I think would make a really nice Spring/Summer poncho but haven't decide on a pattern. I'll take a look at some of the links you have and see if one of those will work.

What yarn are you going to use?

I'm using Homespun Prarie it's really pretty and it stripes on it's own too. it goes from orange to blue, purple , brown and a couple other colors. I picked it out cause it will look good with jeans and I'm trying to grow the dye out of my hair and it will match my natural haircolor which is blondish brown.

I've seen that yarn and it's really pretty! I really liked the Arizona poncho...what a cool design! I'm going to do that one with the yarn I have. I'm pretty sure I'll have enough.

Yeah I'm sending my husband to walmart tomorrow morning to pick me up 3 more things of yarn since my calculations were incorrect lol, but i should be done with this one hopefully by sunday afternoon cause i want to wear it to my parents for easter. But I plan on making a couple more to sell at the craft fair. I'm not gonna make them from any of those patterns since copyrite and all but i've been studying those designs and I think I can come up with something by myself from what I've learned from all my favorites.

I've run into a problem with the black and white poncho pattern and I emailed the designer, so now I am waiting for a responce. The poncho seems to be turning to the left on me and I think I know why but I emailed her to see if there is a correction.

I have this one printed out too, I loved the length. In fact, I may already have the yarn purchased. Will try to dig through and if so I'll start with you.

Got more yarn for my poncho yesterday so i'm on a roll now. plus I got a reply from the lady concerning the other poncho i'm making and she said the weight of the black and white poncho will even it out so everything is correct.

Hi I just finished the Martha Stewart Coming home poncho for a friend in Homespun, I love it, I may have to make one for myself, But It could be continued to make it longer if you wanted to.

What I would like to make is a mother/daughter poncho’s any idea where to find them?

I'm making the Arizona poncho too! I'm hoping to make some progress on it now that the weather is rainy again...

Tena, I just saw a mother/daughter poncho set but I'm not remembering where I saw it. I know it was online though....I'll see if I can figure out where I was. Maybe on crochetpatterncentral.com ?

Hi Ladies!

Count me in! I'm going to be making the Black & White Poncho using 3 colors(purple, yellow & white) instead of just 2. I'm hoping to also use this poncho as a nursing cover up when the baby comes in July. I'm off to get started right now, see you ladies soon!

ally welcome. you know I never though to use a poncho as a cover up for nursing. I am 23 and my son's 2 but i never nursed him and my husband and I have been thinking about trying for another one here soon and i want to nurse if i can so I'll have to keep that in mind

i started another poncho, for myself. It's a variation of the black and white poncho. I didn't like all the holes in it so i started another one and took out the holes. once you have the collar down pat you can do alot of different stitches and make them all look different. I'll post pics as soon as i get the different colors in
