My local HL had several clearance racks of pattern books for 25 cents each!

 

• I got three antique reproduction books for thread crochet
  
• AA's Trendy Boutique Crochet (embellishments for purchased items)
  
• LA's Kids' Playful Sweaters
  
• LA's Top This (sweaters, belts, purses)
  
• Victorian Pins
  
• two books of alphabets in grids
  
• a cross stitch book chock full of Raggedy Ann and Andy patterns (which can easily be translated into crochet!)

So TEN books for $2.50!

 

Check your HL to see if they have similar clearances. You won't regret it!

I went to the Hobby Lobby in Louisville today. Some good deals on yarn but only a few pattern books were marked down and only by a dollar or 2. I did overindulge in the sale yarn though! Glad I got home before dh did! LOL!

No clearance at mine! but I still bought some beads n charms on sale, and some yarn--notonsale--but for a project with a deadline. So DD and I had fun anyway
