OMG! Urgent, need advise.

We are potty straining my 3 yr old and she just had an accident over my baby blanket I was working on, some of the yarn and a part of the blanket was hit, Is there something I can do to save it or is it a loss? Help please.

You could wash it in woolite and cold water...gentle cycle..it should be fine.

I have washed skeins in a laundry bag or pillow case. I think if you search here you should find some more laundry instructions. Gotta love those toddlers

just fasten off the yarn at the end of a row wash it and dry it and it should be fine, then just undo the fasten off and attach the yarn and contiune on. I have actually spilled a whole glass of pepsi on a project already and had to do the same thing it was fine. Good luck. Iam sure if you are making a baby blanket it will end up being "wetted" on again if you know what I mean.

Thanks for the quick replies. I put the skiens in a pillow case and fastened off the blanket and stuck that in another pillow case and am currently washing on delicate.

Exactly, if you can't wash a baby blanket, it isn't much use. I made a blanket when I was pregnant with my now almost 24 year old, and it's still holding together.
