I have been using the Tr and it is a very nice effect.

Sorry I missed the link:blush. I couldn't tell what she used first so thanks for that. I really like the squares she did and the one you did. I don't normally go for bright colors, but in this case it would be beautiful (and make you happy like you said:D).

Use the sunburst square (link above) but substitute a ch 4 and 15 Tr into the ring instead of dc. After that it seems to be the same - even the granny square edging round.

 

On mine. I used the usual 3 dc in each space but I worked (2dc, tr, ch2, tr, 2dc) in each corner.
