Book or Website of Stitches

Recommended Posts

There are so many books and so many sites that it is impossible to list them all in one place.

A good place to start is always CPC Crochet pattern Central

Crochet Cabana is another good place to learn stitches...

There are literally thousands of stitches in hundreds of books and websites.

Crochetcabana is a GREAT resource. I wish I had access to that when I was learning, back when we whittled hooks from dinosaur bones...

Here are 2 sites with videos:

Ooooo dino bone crochet hooks! I love dinosaurs and their bones. As a child I thought it would be cool to travel around the world and dig them up. I'd love a set of those!

Slightly off topic:

Designer Crochet Hooks, does anyone have any personal favorite designers? I mean I use aluminum Susan Bates but would like something more fancy. Do those who use wooden hooks, do you notice the fibers of the yarn your working with getting caught on the wood?

Everyone who has one adores their "Jimbo Hooks". Check it out and you can even ask Jimbo any questions right here at the Ville.
