Question About Sugar Babies Yarn

I have a question about sugar babies yarn. Is it the same as regular sugar & cream yarn? Can it still be worsted but be thinner than the regular sugar & cream? I hope I don't sound too stupid! I have some and can't tell!

there are variances in any weight yarn.. something that is worsted can actually vary from 900 to 1200 yards per pound.. so it can say worsted but be on the small side of it..

I find the Sugar Babies to be softer than Sugarn' Cream and finer.

Can you get a cotton that is pre-shrunk? I love to work with these two brands

(have mostly used the su&cr) but my piece always shrinks and dis-forms when it is washed. Am I doing something wrong? I wash in cold water also.
