Has anyone ever made something with this yarn? It is really soft for an acrylic yarn and I'm using it to make a sweater for myself for a change. I'm just worried about it possibly felting in the wash because of the texture of the yarn. Did anyone have any problems using it? I hope not because this yarn is a dream come true for me, a soft acrylic that looks nice and has a great price.

Is it 100% acrylic? If so, it won't felt. Still it would be a good idea to handwash since you're putting so much time and effort into it. If you want to try the washing machine, wash a swatch and see what it does. I've heard that putting handmade pieces in a pillow cover and then washing prevents a lot of problems.

I love this yarn and I am actually making a poncho ( yes really) with it. I just had to buy this once I had petted it at WM.

It is 100% acrylic but feels like the softest wool. I can't wait to see your poncho made with it Darski. I haven't seen this yarn in a solid color yet but I've been keeping my eyes peeled for it. This would be the best stuff to make cabled sweaters out of since it's not so itchy.
