Question
Hook and I
I'm looking for a pattern for a "swing" sweater/jacket/coat -- in crochet if I can get it - but a knit pattern with diagrams & measurements might work too.
The style is also called a 'trapeze' or 'tent' design.
This style was popular in the 70's, (now my age is showing! lol) - when they had 'tent dresses' or 'trapeze dresses' -- which were basically just a really full, loose triangular shape - or a REALLY exaggerated A-line. (Some of the really full ones were almost a half circle when laid flat).
The end result is a sweater jacket that fits loosely through the body, but has nice lines and fit through the top due to the decreases/increases.
Does anyone, by chance, have a pattern for a swing/trapeze/tent type sweater/jacket/coat?
Thanks so much!
Nancy
