I was looking at the stitch for today, the papyrus stitch, and I was wondering about the abbreviations, yf and yrn. I see that yf is yarn forward, but what about yrn? And what exactly does yarn forward mean?

I haven't seen this pattern, but yrn usually means yarn round needle, and yf just means that you bring the yarn to the front of your work. Both are used in lace knitting.
