I've been busy working on a lot of spooky bags. I really love this one and wanted to share it with you-all.

I am calling it Radioactive Waste Barrel Bag.

First I made the Radioactive sign using regular sport yarn in tunisian stitch using a long size F afghan hook.

Then I used a soft yellow boucle yarn and made the body of the bag using 3 rows front post dc, 3 rows back post dc etc. throughout creating these sort of "ribs" which reminded me of a a barrel.

I attached the sign to the bag and crocheted a round bottom. Then made the top have spaces for a drawstring.

Then the coolest part.

I used glow-in-the-dark yarn (NightLights I got from e-bay), and glow-in-the-dark beads ,(from Hobby Lobby), and crocheted them around the sign too. I also attached a few glow-in-the-dark beads to the drawstring's ends.

I really love this bag!

Lots more pics in my blog if you are interested. :)
