Help, working mommies out there?

eli1118

Question

I am a newbie and am addicted to crochet. I just finished my first amigurumi mouse:cheerHowever, I am going back to work in a week, have an 11 month old son and was wondering--Will I still be able to crochet? I will take any suggestions on how to balance it all. :eek

Thanks in advance.

You'll still be able to crochet. Your little one is growing up and at that age, they do it quickly. When your child wants to spend time playing with you, do that. When your child is being independant and playing on his own, then pick up the hook and yarn and sneak a few stitches in here and there. Just don't leave it where he can reach it since they love to "help".

eli1118 -- i practically quit crocheting when my new baby came in to my life but it called me back recently (she is 7 now). whatever you do, DON'T get rid of your favorite pattern books if you find you hardly have the time right now. :) best wishes,

J
