Wool-Ease

I decided I want to make a crochet hook case. I got a suggestion from Marvie to make this one. However, I didn't have all acrylic yarn, so substituted with Wool-Ease. I am in guage, but I am having a problem, it curls on the corners. I am assuming it is because of the type of yarn it is. Any suggestions?

A friend of mine made me one in wool-ease as well and it curls just a bit on the corners as well, not enough to really bother me.

 

You could try wet blocking it, but there might be too much acrylic in it for that...

Wool-Ease is softer and lighter than regular worsted weight acrylic yarn. That may be why it is curling up on you.

I made the same case with Red Heart and mine curls too. Not a lot, just enough to wing the edges. I don't know if it has to do with the yarn or or my crocheting.
