Cotton blankets

My mom keeps telling me that acrylic is itchy and that I should make blankets out of cotton. She has really sensitive skin and is allergic to acrylic. What is the best cotton yarn for a baby blanket?

I just bought Lion Brand's CottonEase.....it's really soft. You might try that, or Peaches and Cream, if you need yarn that's not quite so expensive......

I am doing a baby blanket now with some sugar and cream that I had. Very soft. Softer than I thought it would be.

I second Cotton Tots. I made five or six baby blankets with Cotton Tots and really liked it. Very soft, and not heavy.
