5 pointed star (Dallas Cowboys)

My husband and I are big fans and even though he technically hates yarn, I think it would be neat to make one. Even if it's just a pillow.

isnt there a round ripple that is five pointed that you could use? just figure out how many rows you would need of which color. and go from there

you could make a starghan with the colors. a larger hook and thicker yarn will give you a bigger blanket.

I have been wanting to try a cowboys crochet pattern but do not know how to do the graphs do I have to do it with C2C crochet to complete the pattern?

No this can be done with sc or tunsin stitch.  If you can not find a graph, there is a group on FB called Free graphs.  I am sure you can find one there.
