Edgings in women's tops

I've seen several tank tops at Kohls with lace edging in crochet. One I recognized as V stitch. Not sure about the others.

 

Knitter's joke:

A highway patrolman sees a car weaving in and out of the lane and turns his lights on. When it doesn't pull over, he pulls up beside the car and sees a bluehaired grandma knitting at the wheel. He rolls down his window and yells "Pull over! Pull over!" She rolls down her window and yells back "It's a cardigan!"
