At the end of row 6 you do not switch to black you continue in yellow. That is the only mistake I found.

 

Row 6: With yellow: Hdc in first sc and in each sc across. Switch to black. Ch 1 turn.

 

That is the corrected row.

 

I made this for my son, I made one change. I made 4 tires. I sc them together wrong sides together for 25 sc and then slipped that over the bus and stitched it down. I still left a long tail on the end of the sc to use to stitch down the tires. That makes the tires show on the scarf no matter which way it is laying.

 

Very cute pattern.
