I do.

On the 5th row, where it says * 2 dc-ch 2-2 dc in the ch 2 sp, 1 dc in next dc, skip next 2 dc, 1 dc in next st. repeat from * is where my problem is. I don't have enough spaces it seems to do the 1 DC, skip the next 2 DC, 1 DC in next stitch. If I do all that, I skip a Ch 2 space and end up in a weird spot.

Aggie May is awesome with her advice! We're so lucky to have her here!

It sounds like you're ready to make the 'valley' . Smoosh the shell in the peak and get your dc in the very first one after the ch2 sp . then you dc down until you skip the 2 bottom dc's (one on each side) .

Ireally hope that makes sense.

Thank you all. I'm just going nutso trying to make this work.

I'm going to give it another go today. I'll report my progress! LOL

You know, it only took me 30 yrs to learn the granny square!!! LOL

But I am determined to make this pattern and NOT wait 30 yrs to figure it out.
