While grocery shopping today I saw the new issue of Craft 'n Things.

Thought some of you might be interested as it has a crocheted afghan on the front. A US flag afghan.

I saw that at the library but opted not to borrow it for one crochet pattern, especially when there are plenty of free American flag patterns.

 

I wish they had more crochet patterns!

I saw it---bought it---making it! It seems to be not as big as some of the flag afghans and I like the stars in a circle. I am going to donate it for a picnic in August at which many door prizes are given out, and I am going to make one for my church silent auction. Last, but not least, maybe one for me!!! LOL

I picked up a copy of this at Walmart this morning. I like how they have the stars in a circle aside from lined up in a square. Plus I just like this mag. It always has some cute things in it.

Crafts 'n Things often has one or two crochet projects every couple of months or so. Not a bad lil' mag if you do other crafty things as well. I'll have to check this one out.
