Please Help Me Make a Square Pattern

I have a friend I'd love to make a Comfortghan for. We meet through a Club we're in and the other members would like to contribute to the comfortghan too.

 

I'd really, really like to be able to incorporate our club name or logo into a square but I have NO idea how to go about designing a square.

 

I'm hoping that someone out there would like to give me a hand with this. Any ideas would be great.

hi stacey, you could make a center square and then cross stitch the name of the group on it. it works wonders i love using cross stitch for stuff.hope that helps. vicki:hug

Thanks Vicki! I actually thought that too later in the day, lol. I've never done that before. I can do the cross stitch part I'm sure but do I just make the square in sc's?

Yup sc or even an afghan stitch if you can do those.

You can even crochet it in rather than cross stitch if you want. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
