Escama -- purses of crocheted pulltabs, made in Brazil

I really liked the purses at the Escama site. That Masha purse really caught my eye... 1600 pull tabs eh? that is a lot of pop to drink and I haven't bought a case of pop in years... literally.

 

It was really neat though and I am beginning to see that it is worth the price.

 

I would like to try this as I have an idea of how they could do it.

 

The "flowers" are pretty but they don't grab my attention the way the purses did.

Wow! This article made me go "Ohh!" and "Aahh!" We have been collecting the soda tabs for at least 6 months now, so we should be able to make just about anything with the amount of soda we drink!
