Tunisian bag

Now that my swap partner Krista has received her pet swap package, I can post a photo here of the portion of the gift that was for her: a Tunisian bag. I used that graph-making website several have posted here (thank you!) to take a knit pillow pattern and turn it into a graph. Although I frogged the upper portion several times, I still didn't get the face right. I realize looking at it that I didn't follow the chart and curve the cheek of the cat. Ah well, it's all a learning experience, right? :lol I used Gong cotton in a dark plum, with Gong cotton black and white for the cat (they had no gray, which I needed to make the cat face more subtle). But I'm proud, as this was my first Tunisian project ever! The handle, by the way, is granite stitch. There's an interior pocket done with hdc.

Thanks for peeking, and any comments or advice on Tunisian or using graphs welcome! Patty
