In a disney princess doll outfit CAL? I think this would be legal, tell me if you don't think so . My idea is that you make up (or base on another outfit) any of the disney princess' outfits. (I think that's okay if you don't post the pattern) I have a Snow White outfit for my Dora doll, but I haven't got a way to post photos yet.

Yes, as long as nobody is posting patterns and is just making the dress for their own personal use, there shouldn't be a problem. Just to be on the safe side, though, you might want to call it a Disney princess-inspired CAL.

 

Disney is very proactive about protecting their trademarks, and we absolutely don't want to draw their attention in any way!

Is this for Dora size only or is Barbie type dolls ok? I ask because there's a website with free patterns for B size dresses and she has princess gowns that I've been wanting to make........................Lise

Whatever doll you want. I prefer the larger dolls, but I'd love to see what you do with Barbie!
