Hey gang, I'm venturing into the world of buying yarn off ebay. I'm only doing it right now with yarns I've seen and touched.

So with that is 10 Balls Bernat Cotton for $16.00 a good deal?

it would depend on what the shipping charge is gonna be, if the shipping is good then I'd say yeah that's a good deal!

that is my first bit of advice to any one buying on ebay..

 

check the shipping ALWAYS.. and factor that into your cost.. also i check to see if the shipping is fair..

 

i will not pay over inflated shipping charges..

yes always check shipping before bidding. I normally don't want to pay much more than $1 per skein, but I deal mainly with baby yarn. There are times when it's a higher quality yarn and I'll pay more.

another thing is.. if you are going to buy a cone and the seller is a yarn dealer you can always email and ask for a sample.. the worst they can say is no ..
