Was it metal, plastic, wood or bamboo???

 

If it was wood or bamboo, I wouldnt worry much about the dog...if it was metal or plastic, you might want to go visit the vet to make sure his intestines arent getting crocheted into a flower or something.

 

as for losing the hook, I guess that gives you an excuse to go hook shopping...time to replace the entire set of hooks!! (any excuse to buy new crochet supplies...you'll probably need new yarn and patterns to go with the new hooks)
