well received gift

just wanted to share that i attended a baby shower yesterday for a member of our church. part of my gift to her was a pink & white afghan.

she loved it and so did the guests.

 

i'm not bragging on my gift or ability but just to say that there are folks out there who appreciate a hand made gift and they're not all "old" like me.

That's wonderful news. It can be tough with handmade gifts. Right now, I'm determined to make everyone in my family an afghan. But, it can be challenging finding the right pattern and colors for everyone.

It's great when your hard work is appreciated. I made a baby afghan for a friend of my daughters, who had her baby shower this past weekend. She loved it! She said she was going to sleep with it herself that night.

The love of handmade gifts is not totally lost on the young.
