I can't take it!!!!!

My wheel is winding it's way to my house as I type and I'm going to go out of my gourd waiting for it <img border=0 src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/Loco.gif" />

 

The lady was going to ship it, but as luck would have it, she is driving from NH to SC today. Since she has to go through NJ anyway, she decided it wouldn't be too far out of her way to drop it off in person <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/bounce012.gif" /> I'm not sure what time she is going to get here though. <img border=0 src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/kuku.gif" />

 

She is going to call when she got in NJ so I'd have an ETA, haven't heard from her yet. I figured the earliest she could have humanly been here was 5ish, with 6-7ish being more realistic w/ stops & such. I do have her cell number. How soon would be too soon to call her?? I don't want to seem like a stalker, but I'm paranoid that she forgot the paper with *my* number on it, lol! I finally called her at 8<img border=0 src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/phone.gif" /> They were a little behind schedule but getting close.

 

She just called me now, they are only about 45 min away, yayyy!!! They had gotten a little turned around and were going North instead of South, but they are on the right road now and there aren't too many opportunities to get lost between there & here <img border=0 src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/read3.gif" />

 

So, hopefully my wheel will be here quick like a bunny <img border=0 src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/rabbit.gif" /><img border=0 src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/rabbit.gif" /> Hehehe, just had to find a reason to use that new little cutie, thanks Julie!!

Woohoo! They made it!

She brought me a bunch of goodies to go with it!

A lazy kate, a handmade nitty noddy, 2 big hand carders, a flick carder and a bunch of fiber to play with! Some Icelandic & some raw (but clean) Romney from her own sheep, some BL, a little bunch of silk and flax, some gorgeous colored merino and the best...some drum carded Great Pyranies from her own flock guard dog lol!

 

She was such a nice person too <img border=0 src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/rowofhearts.gif" /> She gave me a quick demo, then had to get back on the road. I promised her I'd keep in touch & her wheel would have a good home <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/yay.gif" />

 

As tempted as I am to stay up all night, I think I'd better hit the hay and go at it fresh tomorrow. <img border=0 src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/morningcoffee.gif" />

Ok, ok, I'll admit...I was up all night the night before cleaning <img border=0 src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/Loco.gif" /> so I was pretty pooped. I didn't want her to walk into a messy house and say "I'm not leaving my wheel here" <img border=0 src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/toothygrin.gif" />

 

I'm still trying to get my hand/foot coordination going, but I am having some messy success!!! Hopefully by tomorrow I can have something picture worthy <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/photos.gif" />
