I took care of a lady before her heart cath. When I first walked into her room she was crocheting!! Of course, I went be-zerk. Anyway we talked and she makes blankets for babies in need. Here is the link if you are interested.

I think I will send them the one I finished thats posted on my blog. Its fleece with crochet edging.

the same project is doing a stocking activity too. although they don't need stockings ...the have received enough... they do need other items. here is a link stating what they need.

would be a great place to send all of those hats from the Hat-a week crochet-a-long or for those that are tired of making sqaures and wanted to do something different. They are in desparate need of hats and misc. health care items such as toothbrushes, combs, brushes, toothpaste. They alos are looking for some coloring crayons and coloring books.
