I hope to use this for blocking my doilies. I used my JoAnn's 50% off --it was originally $16.99 so I got it for $8.49. What do you think? Will it work?

Several years ago, I bought one of these. I use it frequently for blocking my finished doilies. Also, when a doily I am working on doesn't look flat, I will use the board to pin out the doily so I can make an informed decision about frogging.
