Puppets?

I'm looking for patterns for hand puppets. I've Googled "crochet puppet pattern" and came up with a bunch of results for finger puppets. No, I want the whole hand inside the puppet!

 

I've already got so many projects in queue, but I come up with thoughts of things I want to do so I want to find the patterns before I forget my ideas!:nana

What about trying to convert a basic mitten pattern if you aren't finding a puppet pattern exactly? That's the kind of thing to lay awake at night with as you try to figure out how best to go about it. !

try searching for oven mitts - then you just have to add the puppet part (animal features or hair & eyes)

This booklet is one I got from my hunny's grandma and will never use - if you think it could help I would be happy to send it along, otherwise it will get recycled along with the rest of the stuff I'm passing on.

I have somewhere in my stash some patterns. I know I came across one that was a clown the other day.. They are old patterns from the 70's..
