crocheted kitty/puppy ears

Hello, I am wondering if anyone here has a pattern to make a headband into kitty ears and puppy ears? I'm looking for something where I can crochet around an exsisting headband adding the little ears to it.

 

I hope that makes sense.

I have a pattern book (somewhere) at home that has baby hats with ears... they actually looked more like bear ears but could be adjusted a little to make them more pointy like cats or even flopped over on top like puppy ears. Let me see if I can find it and if you want, I'll email you a copy of the pattern page

 

I did a hat like this... it works up real easy and cute.. the white hat in the picture had a flower on top lol but the brown one is the one with ears I want to say I made the hat.. then did the ears and then attached them... I'll look for the pattern tho..
