wavy scarf

i've seen a wavy, sorta ruffly scarf in several stores and i wanna make one for myself instead of copping out and just buying it

 

it's hard to describe...does anyone have any clue what i'm talking about??? :fc

it's not really a corkscrew...i guess more like a narrow straight line, with ruffles/waves attached on both sides that cover the straight part and make the whole scarf look kinda frilly

 

does that paint any kind of picture?

this is not the pattern I meant but it is close to it. Is it anything like what you wanted? It is in crochet, but do you knit at all?
