Barefoot Sandals

I've seen a couple of very easy barefoot sandal patterns, but I was hoping to find some with more detail...like this one

or

pearl

I know my sisters would love them as much as I do. And maybe I can get through a visit with them, without being teased about turning 30 next month.

The pearl one looks like it'd be fairly easy to reproduce. You could do it in single crochet and just do an increase on each end on every other row or so.

I have been trying to make up my own patterns to have some varity. If anyone gets some ideas, please let me know. Thank you. And here is a photo of my first attemt.
